Since launching his first business at 19 years old, he has built, operated, and sold multiple companies across a variety of industries, gaining firsthand knowledge of what it takes to grow a business from the ground up.

For the past 12 years, Ron has owned and developed software businesses focused on helping companies operate more efficiently, increase revenue, and scale their operations. His extensive sales background, spanning over 30 years, has provided him with deep insight into the challenges business owners face every day and the solutions that produce measurable results.

In July 2022, Ron partnered with two lifelong friends to explore the emerging world of artificial intelligence by creating an AI-powered animated project. The venture demonstrated the incredible potential of AI, but personal circumstances, including navigating the end of a 30-year marriage, required the project to be placed on hold.

In July 2025, the team reunited with a renewed vision and founded SaaSyToad, a company dedicated to building practical AI solutions that solve real business problems.

Today, SaaSyToad is developing AI-powered software that helps businesses automate repetitive office tasks, streamline operations, generate qualified leads, and eliminate time-consuming administrative work. The company's mission is simple: empower business owners to spend less time managing paperwork and more time doing what they do best, growing their businesses and generating revenue.

Joseph Jackson is a co-founder of SaaSyToad, a low voltage contractor with more than two decades in the field, and a self-taught software developer whose work is grounded in the daily realities of the businesses the company serves. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Jackson brings a combination of hands-on trade experience, front-line sales knowledge, and modern product development to the company he helped build.

Since 2002, Jackson has worked throughout the low voltage industry as both installer and salesperson, covering cable, satellite, phone, internet, fiber, security systems, and access control. More than twenty years of walking into real businesses, assessing what they need, and delivering a working system has produced a practical understanding of how small companies actually operate and where the software they depend on falls short.

When AI chatbots first emerged, Jackson recognized their significance immediately and pursued the technology directly. Working night after night, Jackson taught themselves web and application development, using AI as a development partner to turn concepts into functioning products. That self-directed education produced a portfolio of websites and applications built for family, friends, and local businesses, and laid the foundation for everything that followed.

In July 2022, Jackson partnered with lifelong friends Avery Bailey and Ron Strickland to explore artificial intelligence through an original AI-powered animated project, THE SAASYTOADS. The venture proved the technology's potential, but personal circumstances required the team to place it on hold. In July 2025, the three reunited with a renewed vision and founded SaaSyToad, carrying the characters they had created forward as the face of the platform.

Today, Jackson develops the SaaSyToad platform, an all-in-one CRM built for small businesses and agencies. It unifies calls, texts, email, booking, pipelines, and AI-driven automation under a single flat price, with the AI included rather than metered. Alongside it sits a growing suite of standalone applications, each engineered to handle one job completely. Jackson considers SaaSyToad the most significant work of a long building career.

Jackson's creative background runs parallel to the technical one. Recording as the Omaha hip hop artist I AM JOE JACK, Jackson has released a distributed catalog across Apple Music, Shazam, and ReverbNation, including the singles Get Right, Martians, The Lighter Song, and Awoken, and has performed across the Omaha scene alongside artists such as Hellz Flame and Camo Dinero. That work extends into voice acting, writing, music production, songwriting, graphic design, and animation, disciplines that continue to inform how SaaSyToad looks, sounds, and speaks to its customers.

Jackson believes business software should be honest about what it costs. Too many platforms attract small operators with a low entry price, then meter every message, minute, and feature until the invoice bears no relation to the value delivered. SaaSyToad was built as the alternative: one flat price, AI included, and real people available when something goes wrong.
