What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have. No dark patterns, no selling your data.
Two kinds of data
There's data about you, our customer (your name, email, billing details, and how you use the app), and there's the data youput into SaaSyToadCRM about your own contacts. We're the data controller for the first kind and the processor for the second. In plain terms: your customers' data belongs to you, and we only handle it to run the service for you.
What we collect
Account and contact details you give us, billing information, the content you create in the app, and basic technical and usage data (like log and device information) that helps us keep the product running and fix problems.
Why we use it
To provide the service, bill you, support you, keep the product secure, and make it better. We don't sell your data, and we don't sell the data you store about your contacts. That's not the business we're in.
Service providers we rely on
We use a handful of trusted vendors to operate, for example cloud hosting, a managed database, and the payment, phone, and email providers you choose to connect. They only process data as needed to provide their piece, and only on our instructions.
AI features
Some features use AI to draft replies, answer calls, score leads, and handle follow-up. To do that, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We don't allow your data to be used to train third-party models.
Custom cartoon photo uploads
When you order a custom cartoon, you can upload photos of your children, grown-ups and pets. We use them only to design the cartoon characters for that order. We never share them, sell them, post them, or use them for anything else.
Photos travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are stored in private, encrypted storage that is not publicly reachable. Before a photo is stored, we remove its hidden data, including GPS location. Only our team can view them, through links that expire within minutes.
We delete the photos 30 days after we deliver your cartoon (or after a cancelled order). Orders must come from a parent, guardian or grandparent, or someone with their permission. To have photos deleted sooner, email saasytoad@gmail.com.
Payment for cartoon orders is handled by Square on their secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, so you can come back or export it. When you ask us to delete it, we delete it, except where we're required to keep certain records (like billing) by law.
Your choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Export and account deletion are self serve: Settings, then Security, then Data and privacy. Export downloads everything in your workspace as one file. Deletion runs after a 30 day grace period, and you can cancel any time before it runs. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA. For anything else, email saasytoad@gmail.com.
Cookies, Meta Pixel and ads
Our public website (saasytoad.com) may use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies and tells Meta when someone visits a page, starts an order, or sends us a contact form, along with technical details like your browser, device and IP address. We use this to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who may be interested. We do not send Meta the photos, names or details you put in a cartoon order or contact form.
Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook ad preferences, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. Payments for orders are handled by Square on Square's own secure page; we never see your card number.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and let you know. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
